Dates, Hours and Ticket Information
The 78th Annual Chicago Boat, RV and Outdoors Show will be held at the McCormick Place -- North Building from January 16 through January 20, 2008. Hours for the event are as follows:
- Wednesday through Friday: 11am-9pm
- Saturday: 10am-9pm
- Sunday: 10am-6pm
Adult admission to the event is $10 for those over 16, kids 13-15 for $4, and children under 12 are free. Seniors 65 and older receive a discount Wednesday, January 16, opening day, of $8. Purchase 3 tickets online for $30 and get a fourth ticket for free -- a savings of $10. $2 coupons are available for weekday admission, when tickets are purchased at the event, at select locations such as: Chicagoland Dominick's, boat and RV dealerships with exhibits at the show, GMC dealerships and corporate Allstate Offices.

Show Attractions
Besides being able to walk through new model RVs and boats and exploring products from hundreds of vendors, visitors to the sportshow will have access to many special features, including:
- A new attraction to the 2008 show, the RC Boat Drag Strip gives visitors the chance to race remote control boats in a 72 ft. aquatic drag strip.
- For boaters, the Accessory Center will be staffed with experts ready to show the latest marine accessories.
- While at the show, test drive a pair of Crocks! Wear the shoes around the show and have the opportunity to purchase them, select another style, or get an online coupon upon return.
- For football lovers, make sure to see the custom designed boat from Maxum, featuring a football theme. Prizes such as autographed football jerseys and balls, Sirius Satellite Radio Systems and more will be given out during the show. Meet Chicago Bears wide receiver Devin Hester on Thursday, January 17, 2008 from 5-8pm.
- Anglers will love the "Take Me Fishing" Center and the National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame, and Travelin' Fish Tank exhibits.

- Visitors to the show will have the opportunity to ride a canoe down an indoor river.
- Kids will love the Captain Kids Discover Point where they can experience building a model boat and learning to tie knots and the Huck Finn Trout Pond where kids 12 and under can fish for free!
